Pod-Head: Alexa Manuel
This pod will focus on storytelling and storylistening beyond written text. Together, we will explore how we can expand the ways we understand literatures by expanding the ways we view and experience what story is, where it comes from, and how we engage with it. Land, dreams, novels, poetry, performance, body artistry — all of these are forms of story that can be studied as literature. In particular, we will pay attention to the storytelling power of dreams.
