An informal lunch, craft-swap and sale for wildfire relief

WHAT: Informal gathering, lunch-eating, sharing, craft-swapping (and potential light craft-making), donating, conversing, supporting … Please drop in!
As summer heads into its final weeks, many are caring for family, animals, neighbours and communities impacted by the wildfires that are still burning out of control in our region.
If you are seeking some reprieve, please join us for an informal bring-your-lunch (and something to share, if you like!) gathering at the FEELed Lab to come together in community.
Because we also know many of us make things as a way to help us get through these weird times, we also invite you to bring your homemade prints, cross-stitches, zines, beading, crochets, clay pots, or other crafty treasures to show off, share, and (if desired) swap!
In response to the call of our neighbours for support and assistance at this time, we will also be selling specifically-for-the-cause handprinted t-shirts with a (new!) FEELed Lab design, with all proceeds going to the Enowkin Centre’s wildfire support drive.* You can also donate directly by contacting En’owkin Centre (click the caption below):

All FEELed Lab events strive to be feminist, anticolonial, antiracist, queer and accessible spaces. Currently, our lab is located on the second floor of the Centre with no elevator access, but we will mobilize to accommodate whoever shows up!
