Screenprinting Edition!
Its been one whole year of doing Plant People Gatherings at the FEEled Lab! Ponderosa Education Community is so excited to continue this collaborative initiative with the FEELed Lab and build our relationship to the land and each other.
WHEN: Monday, Sept 28, 4:00 – 8:00 pm
WHERE: Woodhaven Ecoculture Centre (see here for directions)
WHAT: A Special Plant People Gathering! From 4-6 pm, we will be doing a Screen-Printing fundraiser to raise money for some of our upcoming work. Pay as you can and either bring your own clothes or choose from our modest selection of thrifted goodies and decorate them with our homemade Badger Revolution prints. From 6-8 pm we will have our typical gathering including a community meal, making connections with fellow community members and discussions about upcoming stewardship work and skill shares around planting and land healing work our community is doing.
If you do or want to get involved in stewardship and land healing work, Plant People Gatherings are the place for you! We invite experts, community members, and knowledge keepers when they are available to build connections, think about how we can care for the land around us, bring ourselves into good relationships to this place and support syilx-led stewardship initiatives as best we can. We typically gather once a month (ish) to build relationships and learn about stewardship work that is happening in the Okanagan
